AudAbility: Fall Session
AudAbility is a music therapy course for People with Parkinson’s and their Care Partners that is taught by a board-certified music therapist specially trained to use music to address vocal, motor, and social challenges that often accompany a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. Learn harmonica, piano, and singing skills to better your life! The AudAbility series increases quality and volume of the voice, relieves stress, and teaches new skills. In this highly interactive program, participants will engage in mindfulness exercises, physical warm-ups, and vocal warm-ups to prepare the body and mind for active music making through singing and musical instrument play. No previous musical experience necessary.
