MusicWorx Symposia Are Opportunities to Think Outside . . . the Box
San Diego’s climate provides year round opportunities for al fresco meetings on the lush campus of Scripps Memorial Hospital in San Diego's coastal gem, La Jolla. Symposia are sacred three-hour blocks of time each Monday afternoon in which both junior and senior MusicWorx interns engage personally in insightful dialog with Dr. Reuer, the clinical internship director. Symposia include coverage of and completion of all the following:

MusicWorx Self-Study Toolboxes
From the very first week of internship, music therapists work to sharpen their tools. Helping new interns to hone their skills are senior interns, clinical internship supervisors, the clinical internship director . . . and a set of five MusicWorx self-study Toolbox courses. Each Toolbox offers strategies and resources for treating a different music therapy population.
