So Many Reasons for Interns to Love Living in San Diego
Ocean surfing is but one of countless ways that MusicWorx interns spend their leisure hours. San Diego has, or is close to, it all. Water sports, estate wine vineyards, cuisine reflecting cultures around the globe, a world-class »zoo, more than 30 museums, a symphony orchestra, and a kickin' food-and-music nightlife in the renovated downtown »Gaslamp Quarter.
San Diego also is the pivotal point for diverse activities within driving distance. Just minutes to the south lies the flavor of another culture, in which tourists dine on fresh Mexican coastal seafood dishes. Ninety minutes north is the snow-skiing playground known as »Big Bear Lake. A ninety-minute sail to the west lands at scenic Catalina island, home of the famous »JazzTrax Festival each October. And ninety minutes to the east is the quaint community of Julian, renowned for its rustic Western charm and still-warm apple pie made from fruit grown in local orchards.
